Jessica Calderon

Jessica, a native New Yorker, fell in love with yoga several years ago and has since enjoyed deepening her practice and sharing her knowledge. Aside from her love of yoga, Jessica is also a certified Health & Lifestyle Coach and Intuitive Reiki Practitioner. Her love of art, health and healing made yoga a natural fit. Jessica has practiced yoga extensively since 2005. After 5 years of a dedicated personal practice she went through a teacher training and earned her 200-hour certification in NY.
 

Jessica’s mission is to help bring flexibility and increased awareness of mind and body. Allowing students to let go and have the opportunity to connect with their own goodness as they enjoy healing through relaxation, focus through breath and movement and letting go through flexibility.
 

Jessica has a passion for teaching but is always a student at heart. She offers sequences that will challenge you, inspire you and keep your heart open. Her concentration on alignment and connection with the breath is a key element in her classes to connect with your physical, mental, emotional and energetic bodies on a deeper level. She embraces healing with her warm and inviting nature as she guides her students on the pathway to health through use of asana, intention, energy work and breath. Jessica uses music to set the mood and create a warm, fun-loving class.

Malaika Floyd

During a very transitional time in her life, Malaika completed her 200 hour Pranic Soul that blended Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Kundalini and Kundalini Meditation. It was through a consistent yoga and meditation practice that Malaika found balance, broke down perceived personal barriers and found the true meaning of self-love and acceptance! Malaika believes that yoga and meditation are truly medicine for the soul, which is the foundation and vibration she brings to her class.
 
As a yoga teacher, Malaika also blends many key elements and concepts from her dance background. As a teenager, Malaika began Atlanta Ballet's pre-professional program where she trained extensively in classical ballet. She then moved to New York to attend SUNY Purchase College, Conservatory of Dance, receiving her BFA in dance and choreography. Soon after, she began traveling worldwide with numerous dance productions and companies such as the Martha Graham Dance Company, Radio City's Christmas Spectacular and the Metropolitan Opera. Malaika is still performing with the Met Opera to this day!

In addition to her yoga practice, Malaika is also a certified personal trainer. She loves teaching one-on-one private sessions focusing on corrective exercise, functional movement patterns, pilates, barre fitness and even yoga and meditation privates! Overall, Malaika's ultimate goal as a teacher is to leave her students feeling in a relaxed elevated state, owning their breathe and practicing self-love!

Mark Stanga

Mark found his love for yoga and meditation by learning how to follow suggestions. For most of his life, Mark suffered from a racing mind. He tried many different things in an attempt to find peace; all proved temporary and came with negative consequences. When he could no longer stand it, Mark made a decision to abandon everything he used to know and become willing to take suggestions from people who had found more peace than he had.
 
One of these suggestions was meditation. Over the next few weeks, daily mediation, combined with soul-searching and healthy living, caused him to experience a complete psychic change, and Mark experienced peace for the first time in his life. He continued to deepen his daily meditation practice and followed the suggestion that he expand it by practicing yoga, which he promptly fell in love with.
 

After recovering from his own struggles, Mark also changed his career path and began working in substance abuse treatment centers in order to help people full-time. There, he began teaching meditation classes to recovering addicts by passing on the techniques that his meditation instructors had taught him.
 

Mark continues to practice yoga and completed Infinity Yoga’s 200-hour teacher training to perfectly marry his love of meditation, yoga, and helping people. He dreams of one day opening a yoga and meditation-based substance abuse treatment center to continue passing on the practices that changed his life.

Tommasina Lash

Tommasina completed 700 hours of yoga teacher training before ever deciding to teach. She has
always valued paying close attention to details while consistently pushing her comfort zones. One day it was apparent that the comfort zone to push was to step up and teach. But, by doing so, she discovered an even deeper joy in yoga through sharing something
she cared so deeply about.

Tommasina's classes reflect that dance between discovering a deeper practice in the most unexpected
places during moments of stillness and yet still pushing yourself to challenge your edge and endurance with deep asana and vigorous vinyasa. Her classes challenge the physical body as a gateway into diving deeper into the energetic body where true transformation
takes place.

Tommasina is a 500RYT who has completed over 550 hours of training with Andrey Lappa,
one of the most influential yoga masters to have emerged from the post-Soviet era. She creatively weaves in elements of Universal Yoga into the flow of her classes.

Chodron

The body is the vehicle to your true nature and meditation is the method used to experience peace and bliss. Learn how to calm the mind, be present in your body and feel rejuvenated. This class is structured using experiential instruction combined with group meditation, usually two guided sits offered with time for questions and clarifications. This class is open to beginner and establish meditators. The benefits of daily meditation practice can reduce stress, anxiety and insomnia as well as increase clarity, concentration and creativity.
