Warm Yoga Stretch

This class is taught by:

Sharon Caplan

After a successful career as a professional dancer in both ballet and theatre, Sharon found her next path and another way to express her love and joy of movement when she stepped in to her first yoga class back in 2000.

Sharon returned to Atlanta in April 2014 after living in Colorado for almost nine years teaching yoga in both Telluride and Aspen. She was formerly co-owner of Telluride Yoga Center and studio manager for O2 Aspen. Sharon received her 200-hour certification through the White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. as well as completed CorePower Level 2 Teacher Training Intensive with Brandon Cox in Boulder, CO.  Sharon holds an E-RYT 200 Certification through Yoga Alliance.

Notable credits are yoga presenter for the Telluride WOW Festival (2013-2015) as well as the Telluride Yoga Festival 2015. While living in Aspen, she was honored to be a Lululemon Ambassador for two years and she still frequents as Guest Instructor in Colorado.

With her passion to inspire others through movement and music and from her previous training, teachers and experiences, Sharon’s “Liquid Flow” Yoga is a unique and uplifting moving meditation focusing on fluid, dynamic and intelligent sequencing designed to create heat as well as help us get out of our heads and get into our bodies. Her vinyasa classes are fun, playful and active, so get ready to sweat and move to a background of creative music mixes that will touch your senses culminating with a deep relaxing finish.

Erin Rogers

During a transitional period in life, between a past of professional ballet and a future of the unknown, Erin was dragged to a yoga class by loved ones. It was not love at first down dog, as asana practice just seemed to be a restrictive version of dance. That impression changed one day, when mid-chaturanga, Erin was overcome by a wave of what felt like a complete release of peaceful energy. This “yoga high” carried her effortlessly through the rest of the practice to savasana, where she witnessed a deeper, more expansive experience of existence.

That initial taste of the promise of yoga inspired Erin to commit to the path of realizing truth. She is so grateful to her teachers and students for the opportunity to connect with others on this path. Currently, Erin is pursuing her 500 hour certification with Sarah Powers of Insight Yoga Institute.
