Victoria Ladd

Growing up in an active home and being involved in sports and gymnastics at a young age, later in life Victoria continued her love of fitness by becoming a Zumba instructor and found joy in helping people achieve their fitness goals.

 

While continuing to push her fitness limits and leaving a full-time job to raise her 2 children she found a way to feel great physically and mentally through yoga. Victoria is registered with the Yoga Alliance and completed her 200hr training here at Infinity Yoga. She has been teaching since the moment she finished her training. Her goal as a yoga instructor is to make yoga accessible for all body types and all levels of experience.

Emily Palmer

As an actress, singer, and writer, Emily Palmer leads a creative life that is constantly inconstant. It was her passion for helping people connect
more deeply with each other – and with themselves – that led her to the ever-unpredictable life of an artist. This work, and the unstructured lifestyle that came with it, were constantly at war with Emily's naturally structured personality, and she frequently felt stressed, imbalanced, and worn down.
 
All of that began to change when she discovered Yoga. Her practice gave her a daily opportunity to practice stillness, compassion, courage, patience, and humility. As her mind began to quiet, she found freedom, peace and balance from within, and her life changed powerfully for the better. After experiencing the life-changing power of Yoga, Emily knew she wanted to share it with others!
 
 
She received her 200HR YTT from Jessie Fletcher's Dorje Yoga School, where she learned creative, dynamic, sequencing to both challenge, and nourish her students – physically, spiritually, and energetically. Emily feels so immensely grateful to be part of the wonderful Yoga Community in Atlanta, and to teach at Infinity!

Julia Smith

I began my career as a student athlete in high school and college. Running was my passion. I excelled in this sport and had a small yet dedicated coaching staff and great teammates and friends. Through the years, I have embraced and relished the freedom running has given me. Regardless of the amount of time I have been able to devote on a daily basis, I feel it has given me balance.
 
Working, parenting, maintaining my marriage and all of the other usual and incredible challenges that present themselves daily have been managed by giving myself this time to just breathe. Six years ago I added yoga and swimming to my routine to give myself variety and recovery from running. I found that both of these added another element of mental, spiritual and physical balance. I began practicing yoga at a yoga studio and signed up for Yoga Teacher Training.
 
Wow, “my eyes” were opened and my curiosity piqued. This, combined with a writing / drawing journal I began to keep daily generated more thought and appreciation for the beauty and opportunity laid out before me each day. A more peaceful presence has been the result. I have always enjoyed art and athletics and am cultivating a career transition over the next couple of years. Yoga and yogic philosophy…I feel compelled to share with others! What a wonderful effect it has had on my life and those close to me. I love being a student…there’s something new to discover daily by opening your heart. Healthy eating and cooking are daily indulgences as well and I am figuring out how I am going to fold this into my developing career. A holistic health coach is my aim and I am heading there each day.
Never done yoga? No problem! This class is for you. Learn the fundamental poses and technique of "vinyasa." In this tutorial based class, we will go slow with the opportunity for questions. Gain the confidence and skills to branch out into our all-levels classes. Classroom is not heated.
