Pilates Yoga Fusion Flow

Meredith Hesse

Meredith started practicing Pilates at the age of twelve and quickly realized that it was a perfect compliment to her intense ballet training. Pilates helped keep Meredith balanced throughout her professional career as a ballet dancer, and led her to eventually begin a second career as an instructor.
 
 
Yoga came to Meredith later in life, when she fell in love with the Ashtanga practice. A serious back injury took her out of the ballet world and away from the intense Ashtanga series. What initially seemed to be a series of pretty poses, Meredith quickly realized that yoga could be used for rehabilitation of her injury. Meredith began studying Iyengar and the Hot practice at Atlanta Hot Yoga. This life-changing shift led her to teacher training, and to getting her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Certification.
 
 
Everyday Meredith walks into the studio and begins her class - either in pilates or yoga - she feels blessed to have the amazing opportunity to teach at such a wonderful studio, and work with such a wonderful community.

Shelby Banister

Shelby was first attracted to yoga as a physical practice that works the body and calms the mind. Early into her practice, Shelby began to suspect that yoga was intended to do much more. This experience led Shelby to believe that yoga can open you to greater possibilities in life by allowing you to see and live from your own innate beauty.
 

Shelby believes that yoga is to be practiced in every aspect of our lives and as such, is so remarkably more profound then the asanas alone. One of Shelby's greatest joys is observing her students arrive at these realizations in their own time and see the ways yoga touches each one of them in their own lives. Shelby enjoys integrating alignment, hands on adjustments and laughter into each class.

Natalie Skubic

Natalie grew up in Louisiana and Florida and always loved being active! Her fiery extroverted nature always seemed to draw her to explore all types of physical activities. Natalie's yoga journey began in 2011 when she walked by a local yoga studio offering a 30 day yoga challenge (30 classes in 30 days). Never one to not take a challenge, she went for it! Through the newfound commitment, she found a passion and her soul felt at home. She was drawn to the flexibility and stability yoga offered along with the balance it was creating in her life. She fell in love with how the rhythm of the breath creates a magical dance between the mind and body. The changes that occurred in her life, both physical and mental left her wanting more and it gave her the desire to share yoga with others.

At the time, working in the corporate world, she found herself in a lot of demanding, time consuming roles that allowed great professional growth but left her soul unfulfilled and searching, which led Natalie to embark on a yogic journey for personal growth, through determination, vulnerability, and acceptance. After completing her RYT teacher training here at Infinity Yoga in 2016, she decided to leave the corporate world behind and teach and share yoga with others full time.

 

Natalie brings a spirited element to her classes and urges students to embody their deepest desires and to leave egos at the door. Her playful nature encourages students to face their fears and to go deep into what moves them. 

Natalie also teachers pilates yoga fusion and was certified through our very own Meredith Hesse; she is a certified doula. When she is not teaching she loves hanging out with her husband, and her four boys.

Pilates Yoga Fusion provides a challenging practice that will strengthen, stretch and tone your entire body. This heated, energizing practice combines the two mind-body formats in one so you can reap the benefits of greater strength, flexibility and peace of mind.  Room Temperature is Warm - between 82-87 degrees.
